Pre-Wedding Photoshoot in Florence

Bree and Marcus came all the way from Australia to Italy for their intimate wedding at the magnificent Villa Santa Lucia Nuova, and what a joy it was to document their love story! The day before their wedding, we met for a cozy pre-wedding photoshoot in the enchanting city of Florence—a place bursting with historic charm and artistic beauty.


Florence is known for its crowds, and I must admit, capturing photos amidst the hustle and bustle can present its challenges. However, Bree and Marcus were incredibly cooperative and radiated love for each other so brightly that we quickly forgot about the thousands of tourists bustling around us. Their connection gave life to every photo, transforming the busy streets into a romantic backdrop for the adventure we were sharing. As we wandered through the picturesque streets, each corner revealed stunning architecture and vibrant colors, creating the perfect canvas for our shoot. Laughing and flirting, the couple’s genuine affection for one another was palpable, making it easy to capture their beautiful moments together.


The highlight of our journey was definitely our destination—Piazzale Michelangelo. Upon reaching this iconic lookout, we were rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the city, where the terracotta rooftops and historic buildings sprawled out beneath us in a tapestry of beauty. As the day came to an end, I couldn’t help but daydream about returning to this romantic city for a nighttime photoshoot, where the lights of Florence twinkle like stars against the dark velvet sky. The infectious love shared by Bree and Marcus, combined with the unparalleled charm of Florence, ensured that this pre-wedding photoshoot was a captivating experience filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
